Redeeming Manhood from a Fallen World CD
Why have a seminar about biblical manhood at an international women’s conference? And why design that seminar specifically for young women, mothers of young women and disciplers of young women? There are two reasons really. First, the body of Christ is made up of two types of image bearers: male and female. Developing a biblical perspective about your gender within the Body is tied to a proper understanding of your gender’s counterpart. Secondly, from the moment that Adam took the fruit from Eve and ate, God’s design for manhood has been under attack. Culturally, this is played out before our eyes in a myriad of ways every day. Being able to identify the cultural voices that are making it hard for young men to hold to manhood as God intended it enables you to help your brothers within God’s family. This seminar will build a scriptural foundation for biblical manhood, investigate some of the cultural voices that work against biblical manhood and attempt to provide applications to help the Body of Christ redeem manhood from a fallen world.
